Missions provides opportunities for our members to give back to the community and use their heart in the knowledge-based world of medicine. It also allows our members to apply the social side of medicine to real life situations.

During our programs, we help conduct clinics with experienced doctors, educate about better health practices and interact with our beneficiairies. Our members also help in non-medical ways such as raising funds as well as helping improve the beneficiaries’ living circumstances through food delivery and wall painting.

In recent years, we have contributed to overseas communities in China, Cambodia and Nepal as well as at home, in Singapore. We are continually looking for more organisations and communities that we can contribute to.

Missions also gives members the opportunity to take charge of trips and deal with the administrative issues that are involved in overseas and local aid work.

As a committee, we hope to be able to reach out and effect lasting change in the communities we help, while also providing a fruitful experience for our members.
