What we do
SMSV Events is dedicated to creating a fun, interactive, and memorable experience for Singaporean medical students studying in Victoria. Through a wide variety of social and community centred events organised throughout the year, we aim to foster a strong sense of belonging and connection, even while students are far from home.
SMSV Events plays an important role in strengthening the student community. We plan a wide variety of events from casual food sessions that encourage inter-batch interaction, to outings such as beach days, providing students with an opportunity to relax and unwind amidst the stresses of medical school. Events such as NightFest and Asclepius Cupalso provide a platform for members to showcase their talents and interests outside of academics.
By bringing students together through meaningful and enjoyable experiences, SMSV Events hopes to cultivate friendships, support networks, and a welcoming community environment for all members.
